Technical Academy Coordinator / Supervising Technical Director
Coach Fabio is the AC Milan-appointed Technical Director and Representative that oversees AC Milan Academy DMV’s players technical, tactical, and psycho-social development through the strict implementation of the Milan Integrated Mythology. Coach Fabio is a former “top flight” professional player and coach, and is now the senior youth academy coach, training, and coach educator for AC Milan.
Chief Operating Officer / Coach
Coach Rodney brings an impressive background of service and leadership. He has a PhD in Epidemiology, two Master's degrees, 17 years in the Air Force, and has nearly two decades of coaching varsity high school, travel, and college soccer. He currently holds a USSF-C coaching License.
Sporting Director / Coach
Abideena Dambo is a US Soccer C Licensed coach with more than six years of experience across youth, semi-professional, and intercollegiate soccer. Having played from the youth level through semi-professional soccer, he brings a strong player’s perspective to coaching, complemented by an analytical and development-focused approach shaped by his background as a Mechanical Engineer. Abideena holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering.
Senior Technical Director
Mohammad Rad is a UEFA B-licensed soccer coach with over 14 years of experience developing players in both Germany and the United States. He currently serves as the Head Soccer Coach at the German International School in Potomac, MD, leading boys’ and girls’ teams from middle school through high school. A former semi-professional player in Germany, Mohammad played for clubs including FC Aldekerk, GSV Geldern, FC Italia 1998, SV Oppum, Preußen Krefeld, and Metro Tehran. His firsthand experience on the field gives him a deep understanding of the game, which he brings into every training session.
Grassroots and Player Development Advisor
Marcelo holds a USSF-A license. He has more than two decades of experience coaching and scouting in Northern Virginia. He is a former club technical director and is currently the Grassroots Chairman for the Virginia Youth Soccer Associations. Additionally, Marcelo is a United States Soccer Federation Coach Educator focusing on providing new coaches the foundational knowledge, skills, and abilities to lead and develop players for life on and off the pitch. Marcelo also had a storied carrier as a professional player in Ecuador
